The impact of bacterial infection in poultry is one of the major reasons of concern. Moreover, with concern over antibiotic resistance & food safety measures (antibiotic residues in poultry meat), we need to look for alternative for antibiotics and antibiotic growth promoters. Feed acidifier is a powerful combination of synergistically acting organic acids, salts and specific extracts combined with inorganic carrier. Feed Acidifier helps control gram negative bacteria and promotes proper growth in poultry birds.
The dual mode of action inhibits bacterial proliferation. Furthermore, the inorganic carrier secures a slow release of the active ingredients and removes unwanted metabolites from the intestine. Feed acidifier maintains optimum pH throughout the gut, hence prohibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria.
The use of Feed Acidifier is indicated for the control of gram-negative bacteria including E. coliand Salmonella spp., in order to promote proper growth.
